MATAR-PANEER RECIPE - HOW TO MAKE MATAR-PANEER(PEAS-CHEESE)

Matar-paneer recipe -
Matar- Paneer is very famous in North India and everyone likes it very much. we can serve this in lunch or dinner with Roti/Paratha or Rice. So let's make today matar-paneer.

 For 4-5 people
Time - 45 minutes

ingredients -
Paneer/cheese - 250 grams
green pea - 1 cup
Onion - 2 medium size
Tomato - 1 medium size
Garlic - 5-6 buds
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Green chili - 2
 Red Chilli Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder-1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon
 Salt - according to taste
 Oil - 3 tbs
RECIPE - HOW TO MAKE MATAR-PANEER                  
 


          First, grind onions, garlic, green chilies and tomatoes together,                
                     cut the paneer into small pieces or shape of your choice,



 Now heat a tbs of oil in the pan, add paneer in oil and fry until it becomes golden, and put it in a plate and keep it aside.



 Now add the remaining oil in the same pan, add cumin and tejpatta, when the cumin crackle then add grind masala and fry for 1 minute,


Now add turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder and fry it until oil turns out(about 2 to 3 minutes).



Now add green peas and one cup of water and cook on medium flame till cook peas,                


                Now add paneer and cook on low flame for 2 minutes, then turn off the gas, 

Your matar-paneer is ready, decorate it with coriander leaves and serve with  roti/ paratha, rice or kulcha, and enjoy it.
